Les faillites d’astrid

A gifted student and the pride of her community, Astrid suddenly returns to Saint-Boniface, Manitoba, with only one semester left at university in Montreal, and announces she won’t be returning: she’s failing her classes.

Humiliated, Astrid contemplates her uncertain future and, for the first time in her life, feels lost. Then slowly, her younger sister Stella and a certain handsome bookseller, as well as this entire community she thought she’d left behind forever, help her discover herself in a new light.
